“Everyday is a new opportunity to reimagine yourself and your world. It’s Ok to reinvent your creative voice and express yourself in a new way. Creativity is limitless”.
I live in the Sandhills of Nebraska. It is through my images that I hope to not only share the images I see daily but also to share with the viewer the spirit and soul of the Sandhills.
The images you see are an honest portrayal of what it is to live and work in this region. Through my paintings I hope to express the evolving changes of life, the changing seasons, knowing we live a vulnerable but blessed life.
My paintings are intended to be expressive. I want to evoke a memory and/or an experience from the viewer, to share my story.
My inspiration for this collection began by choosing to use only three colors for each set of three paintings. This approach really pushed my artistic ability when creating with this limited palette. I love to bring unexpected color onto a canvas: the process makes me feel alive!
An extension of our May show in our "Special Exhibition Space" includes work by Valery Wachter, Harrell Adams, Jude Martindale, and Jeanne Baer.
