'Renovate and remodel' are words that are often used interchangeably, when they are actually two distinct processes. This body of work was in response to the physical remodel of our home, as well as a spiritual renovation of my heart. Many of the paintings in this exhibit were older works that I felt needed to be updated or transformed in order to express something new.
