"Hope"
Hope springs eternal and now, more than ever in my memory, we need hope. The pastels in this show exemplify Hope to me. Through all of our earthly turmoils, we can be calmed by those things that do not change. The ocean tides continue according to an eternal schedule. The four seasons happen regardless of any human intervention.
My pastels all contain hope for a better tomorrow, a brighter future, and this is what I attempt to convey in my art. I paint with hope. I live with hope for a better tomorrow.
