Randy
Mittan was born in El Paso, Texas 49 years ago. He has lived
in Wisconsin, Colorado and Florida. Now he calls Nebraska his
home. Randy has done everything from filming television and
being a projectionist to lecturing and running his photography
studio and darkroom. He has a degree as an electronics technician,
has managed a camera store, and is a color printer at Harman’s
Camera Center in downtown Lincoln.
He
knows all camera formats inside and out, film characteristics,
lighting, and darkroom techniques. He shoots infrared black
& white photos, and loves black & white, digital, and
computer work.
Randy does traditional photography very well, but prefers the
freedom of unrestricted creativity through his lens. Randy uses
Nikon equipment, and prefers Fuji film.
