Randy Mittan was born in El Paso, Texas 56 years ago. He has lived in Wisconsin, Colorado and Florida. Now he calls Nebraska his home.

Randy has done everything from filming television and being a projectionist, to lecturing and running his photography studio. He has managed a camera store, and worked in a lab for professional photographers. He just earned a business degree with focus on entrepreneurship, and was color printer & salesman at Harman’s Camera Center in downtown Lincoln.

He knows all camera formats inside and out, film characteristics, lighting, and darkroom techniques. He shoots infrared black & white photos, and loves black & white, digital, and computer work.

Randy does traditional photography very well, but prefers the freedom of unrestricted creativity through his lens. Randy uses Nikon equipment, a Mac computer, Epson printer, Photoshop and Lightroom.

He is available for freelance work of all kinds, including business, portrait, or product photography.

All photographs are for sale matted and framed, or just matted. Sizes from 4 x 6 to 12 x 18 and panoramas are available.

Feel free to email him at rmittan@earthlink.net with any of your photographic questions or make an appointment to visit his Burkholder Project’s Studio 12 in the skylight gallery.

Gayle Mittan was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, and currently lives in the house she grew up in. She has interests in digital photography, animals, fashion and computers. She currently shares a studio with her husband Randy, friend Cindy Wood, and Sarah Moldovan.

Gayle has exhibited photographs in venues such as libraries, banks, offices, cafes, churches, nursing homes, fairs, and even has some prints in Lincoln, England. She was the newsletter editor for the Lincoln Camera Club for 2 years. Her previous business endeavors included a unique clothing boutique called Boog’s, and a certified dog grooming salon named K-9.

Many describe Gayle's work as “really good” but she sees it as unconventional, unique, universally liked photographs that people can relate to. This photographer hopes you can relate to them too. Enjoy!

All photographs are for sale matted and framed, or just matted. Sizes from 8 x 12 to 16 x 20 are available.

Feel free to email her at boogsrocks@earthlink.net with any questions or make an appointment to visit the Burkholder Project’s Studio 12. New work is displayed in the skylight gallery on Gallery Friday, the first Friday of every month from 7-9 pm.
