I'm still
finding myself as an artist. Currently I love using texture and
bold colors, although I do appreciate the power of muted,
subdued
colors as well. I have some sort of red in most of my paintings.
I love red. It is the one color that I feel expresses my thoughts
and emotions best. The process of creating a piece is what most
satisfies me, and the end product is a representation of an emotion,
or a clash of, or a cooperation of. I am so grateful to be part
of the atmosphere and the experience of The Burkholder Project.
